FAQ

Answers to common questions about ETH Canal, RWA Day, membership, and participation.

What is ETH Canal?

ETH Canal is a Panama-rooted network connecting builders, operators, institutions, educators, protocol teams, and communities applying Ethereum to real-world problems.

When is RWA Day?

RWA Day will be online in August 2026. The exact date and Luma registration link will be published after approval. You can register interest on the RWA Day page.

Do I need to be a member to submit a talk?

No. Membership or sponsorship is never required to propose or deliver a session.

Is membership open?

Not yet. Previous ETH Canal participants can register founding-member interest. Participation will be verified before invitations are issued.

Is the ecosystem page a public directory?

Not yet. The reviewed directory will open after account, claiming, and moderation workflows are ready. Organizations and projects can register interest now.

Does sponsorship guarantee a listing or speaking slot?

No. Organization membership, sponsorship, directory review, and programming decisions remain separate.

What languages does ETH Canal support?

English is ETH Canal’s canonical operating language and remains the language for email and official operational communication. The public site is available in English and Spanish, with Brazilian Portuguese for core journeys and relevant programs. Codex maintains translations from the English source, and automated checks flag missing or stale content. The site may suggest a language based on a browser or saved preference, but it never changes languages without the visitor’s choice. If a translation differs from English—especially for policies—the English version controls.

Can I propose a session in Spanish or Portuguese?

Yes. Sessions may be proposed in English, Spanish, or Brazilian Portuguese. Non-English proposals must include an English title and abstract plus the title and abstract in the proposed session language. Schedule entries and recordings will identify the session language clearly.
