Agent registrations leave a large gap to repeat counterparties

Agentic Finance Graph separates Base registry entries, observed payers and agents with several independent counterparties.

Agentic Finance Graph reports 1,148,544 ERC-8004 registrations on Base at the end of October, alongside 27,897 agents ever observed paying and 124 paying three or more independent counterparties over 30 days. These are the research provider’s measurements, using its published wallet-binding and activity definitions.

Its October report distinguishes registered identities from funded wallets and repeat economic relationships. The categories are not interchangeable with unique customers, autonomous businesses or proven product demand. Coverage, the attribution of wallets and changes in collection methods can affect the observed totals.

For a product team, a useful dashboard should follow the same progression: registration, successful service use, payment and repeat independent counterparties. The interpretation is more valuable than a large mint count. The report and methodology are available at https://agenticfinancegraph.com/state-of-agent-money-2026-10 for readers who need to inspect the measurement boundaries.
