Agent-wallet approvals can pause a payment without stopping the task
Lubin’s clarification separates wallet authorization from the agent’s other work.

Joseph Lubin clarified that a MetaMask Agent Wallet action can wait for human approval while the agent continues other work. The distinction matters when a payment requires authorization but research or preparation can still proceed.
MetaMask documentation describes user-defined limits and an approval workflow for its command-line wallet. The design offers a boundary around wallet execution; it does not establish that every model decision is correct or resolve every legal liability question.
Builders can make that boundary visible in their products: show the pending action, preserve its context and allow independent work to continue. Approval should attach to the specific wallet request, with a clear status before execution resumes.
