ARQ brings USDs to Tempo, with Bridge as the issuer

The launch separates distribution from issuance, and ARQ’s own disclosures still describe crypto withdrawals as work in progress.

Tempo announced on November 2 that ARQ is launching USDs exclusively on its network. The important issuer detail appears in ARQ’s own transparency page: Bridge, a Stripe company, issues USDs exclusively for ARQ; ARQ distributes the digital dollar. Calling ARQ the issuer would collapse two different responsibilities. ARQ disclosure: https://www.arqfinance.com/en-BR/transparency

ARQ describes backing in cash and short-term U.S. Treasuries, with reserves published by Bridge and monthly attestations. Its disclosure says reserve figures are unaudited between attestations. Those are provider disclosures, rather than an independent reserve audit by ETH Canal. The page also says crypto deposits convert to USDs and that enabling crypto withdrawals remains work for the coming weeks.

For a regional payments team, a branded balance is only part of the operating model. Issuer obligations, distribution terms, redemption routes and withdrawal availability need separate evaluation. The launch does not establish availability in Panama, a new local license or a completed integration for every customer. Product planning should start with the specific country and supported exit route.
