Base’s October recap connects agent payments with LATAM finance
The ecosystem list mixes launched products, integrations and ongoing work, each with its own availability boundaries.

Base’s October recap gathers 25 launches and announcements. It describes Cloudflare’s Monetization Gateway as letting APIs charge agents per request with settlement in USDC, and Mastercard’s Agent Pay for Machines as using x402 on Base. These are ecosystem-reported capabilities, not evidence that a particular autonomous agent has made a payment.
The same recap highlights LATAM applications: Bitso Bóvedas on MXNB and USDC, Gennius bringing bank services with Coinbase starting in Argentina, and Luca extending its app to tokenized stocks. Base’s wording distinguishes products it calls launched from services still being brought to institutions. The list does not establish that every feature is available to every regional customer.
The product opportunity is the connection between software-driven payments and familiar banking access. Teams evaluating these examples should trace authorization, custody and redemption all the way through the service. A shared network can simplify technical integration while leaving commercial eligibility and local delivery dependent on the participating providers.
