Circle’s quarterly update reports 205 financial institutions enrolled in Circle Payments Network and annualized payment volume growth of 15.2 times year over year. Enrollment and an annualized rate describe different aspects of a network: they should not be read as the number of active payment corridors or the cash settled during the quarter.

The company also says Arc mainnet launched on September 16 with 11 founding validators and more than 100 applications. Separately, the planned acquisition of Tazapay remains subject to regulatory approvals. Circle frames that transaction as a way to extend USDC delivery to the last mile and accelerate its payments network.

For a regional payment provider, settlement infrastructure and delivery into a recipient’s usable balance are separate integration questions. The update offers evidence of company-reported network expansion, while leaving route availability, participant eligibility and local payout conditions to be checked for each proposed service.
