Devcon’s coding-agent session puts verification on the agenda
A forthcoming Certora talk invites a practical question: what, exactly, has been checked?

Devcon announced a Security-stage talk by Certora’s Mooly Sagiv titled “Bug-Free Solidity Coding Agents.” The October 19 post describes verification and program analysis as ways to make generated smart contracts safer. It is a session announcement, not evidence that all generated contracts are free of defects.
For teams evaluating coding agents, the useful discussion starts with the properties they want the contract to preserve. What must never happen to a balance? Who may change a critical setting? Which assumptions are made about another contract? A convincing demonstration should make those questions visible instead of presenting a successful run as the whole security story.
Our suggested lens for the session is the relationship between the specification and the finished program. Ask what the checks cover, what they leave outside their scope and how a later edit affects the result. That turns an ambitious title into concrete questions a builder can take back to a review process.
