Devcon’s live schedule turns conference planning into a product task
Devcon 8 has released its schedule and an early-access app for Mumbai. Offline access helps attendees prepare, while the programme remains subject to change.

Devcon announced that its schedule is live and its app is available in Early Access. The organizer says attendees can browse sessions and speakers, build a plan with Interests and keep their ticket available offline. The conference is scheduled for November 3–6 in Mumbai.
The app at https://app.devcon.org/ explicitly says the schedule is subject to change. Its public interface separates the programme, speakers, venue map and personal planning area. Those features make preparation possible now, without turning the current programme into a fixed promise about every session.
For builders attending from the Americas, the scarce resource is attention across parallel sessions. Choosing a few concrete learning goals—such as proof systems, payment infrastructure or developer tooling—can make a programme more useful than collecting a long list of talks. Travel and meeting time also compete with sessions.
Offline access is particularly useful when venue connectivity is unreliable, but plans still need a final check against organizer updates. The practical next step is to review the live programme and leave room for changes, rather than treating an early-access schedule as a completed event report.
