ICE and Trade[XYZ] plan a regulated US route for perpetual markets

Their agreement proposes a separate retail market and clearing structure built on Hyperliquid, subject to regulatory approvals.

Anonymous hands place a small clock beside a closed notebook at dusk.

Intercontinental Exchange announced an agreement and strategic investment with Trade[XYZ] on October 29. The partners intend to bring Hyperliquid-based perpetual markets into a new US-regulated retail structure, with dedicated clearing and customer access through regulated intermediaries, subject to approvals.

The announcement describes a planned market, not an already available US service. Perpetual contracts provide continuing market exposure; they should not be confused with ownership of the underlying shares. Distribution and product access still depend on the proposed structure and applicable permissions.

For LATAM product teams, the development is worth following as a market-design question: who operates the venue, who clears obligations and who admits customers? Connecting blockchain infrastructure to a familiar broker route does not make those responsibilities disappear or establish eligibility in another jurisdiction.
