Lulubit's Panama checkout explainer puts conversion at the center
A card-payment thread shows why the moment of conversion matters for customers and merchants.

In its October 21 thread, @lulubitapp explains choosing a primary crypto balance and a backup for Lulucard payments. The company says its app converts the balance into dollars when the customer pays, and provides transaction visibility and card activation controls.
Our analysis: that distinction matters in Panama. A shopper spending from a crypto balance does not by itself mean the merchant receives crypto directly. The customer experience can look familiar while conversion and settlement happen elsewhere in the service chain.
The thread is a useful starting point for product education, but it does not settle every operating question. Customers still need to understand exchange terms, charges, eligibility and how a refund is handled. Merchants need a clear record they can reconcile with the amount they receive.
For builders, a practical demonstration should follow a purchase through authorization, conversion, receipt and reversal, showing what each party sees. This would test clarity as well as speed. The provider's explainer describes its own workflow; it is not independent evidence of acceptance at every store or a guarantee of costs.
