The Consejo Mexicano de Activos Digitales, A.C. describes itself as an industry coordination organization focused on digital assets and tokenization. Its official site announced an inauguration during Mexico Tech Week. In an original post, attendee @holaNFT reported participating in that inauguration and discussions spanning art, markets and real estate.

The organization’s stated work includes research, training, good practices and dialogue among businesses, specialists, universities and institutions. These are an association’s objectives, rather than evidence of new government rules, regulatory approval for member products or completed tokenized transactions.

For regional builders, the useful test is whether coordination produces practical resources: clearer operating standards, shared terminology and documented use cases. Panama’s ecosystem can examine that approach without assuming the same institutional structure or regulatory outcome. The next evidence to watch is the association’s actual publications and initiatives, beyond the launch ceremony.
