Safe presents Safenet checks before transaction execution

Safe describes independent checkers staking on transaction verdicts that the chain enforces before execution.

A brass gateway with separate mechanical checking levers.

Safe says Seán Mac Aonghais introduced Safenet at DeFi Summit, describing independent checkers who stake on their verdict about a transaction. The announced design places enforcement before execution, with the chain applying the verdict rather than leaving it as an advisory alert.

That distinction matters for treasuries and agent wallets: detecting a questionable action after settlement can be too late. A pre-execution control moves the decision into the transaction path. Its usefulness still depends on what checkers evaluate, how disagreements are handled and which failures the mechanism can actually prevent.

The post establishes a presentation and the intended mechanism. It does not by itself establish general production availability, a deployment audit or protection against every attack. Teams evaluating this approach should ask for the enforcement boundary, checker incentives and operational failure behavior before treating it as a treasury control.
