Sentora’s Aave V4 launch makes curation a separate product layer
Three Ethereum markets put an external risk manager on shared lending infrastructure while retaining governance safeguards.

Aave Labs announced Sentora’s first externally curated Aave V4 markets on Ethereum, accessible through Aave Pro. Sentora manages market strategy and risk. Aave governance retains contract ownership and a 48-hour timelock on risk-increasing changes.
The architecture separates the lending platform from the choices made by its curator. For an institutional integration, evaluating the underlying contracts is therefore only part of the work; the curator’s mandate and decision process deserve their own review.
Shared infrastructure can reduce repeated engineering, but it does not make different markets economically interchangeable. A borrower-facing product should make clear whose risk settings apply and how changes reach users.
For Panama and regional teams exploring institutional DeFi, the model offers a useful design question: which controls belong to common infrastructure, and which must remain specific to a market? Clear responsibility matters as much as access.
